Obafemi Martins And Innocent Emeghara On Target As San Jose Earthquakes Upset Seattle Sounders

Obafemi Martins lasted the entire duration of the game as Seattle Sounders lost 3 - 2 to San Jose Earthquakes in the latest round of matches decided in the MLS.

Switzerland international of Nigerian descent,Innocent Emeghara,  made his first start of the season for his new employer.

And he fulfilled the faith reposed in him by manager Dominic Kinnear, scoring in the 70th minute to bring the scoreline to 3 - 1.

A second goal of the season by Obafemi Martins gave Seattle Sounders hope of a comeback but San Jose Earthquakes soldiered on until the final whistle.

Seattle Sounders, who provisionally occupy the second spot in the Western Conference, are guests to Dallas in two weeks time.
