Emmanuel Emenike Jets Off To London To Cool Off; Fenerbahce Set To Fine Him 50,000 Euros For Conduct

Emmanuel Emenike is unhappy with the way he’s being treated by Fenerbahce fans since the season began, especially in the last league game against Istanbul rivals Besiktas.
The Nigeria international jetted off to London on Tuesday morning to cool off , and reflect on the circumstances that have contributed to his poor run in front of goal.
Against Besiktas, he was booed by a section of the Fenerbahce supporters after fluffing an easy chance that would have given the Yellow Canaries the lead.
“Why did they do this. I try to give everything on the pitch. They do not like me,” Turkish sports daily Fanatik quoted Emmanuel Emenike as saying in Turkish.
“I exited the field again, though they still cursed and reacted. How can I play again.”
While in London, the 2013 African Cup of Nations star will stay at InterContinental London Park Lane Hotel, located at One Hamilton Place, Park Lane, London.
Emmanuel Emenike is expected to return to Istanbul on Thursday, March 26th.
There are suggestions by the Turkish press that he will be fined 50,000 euros by the Fenerbahce brass for attempting to walk away from the pitch.
