Marseille are among teams in France eyeing up a move for Nigeria Under 20 international Zaharaddeen Bello, according to footmercato.net.
The central defender was scouted by former Marseille sporting director Jose Anigo during the African Youth Championship in Senegal.
And the 17 - year - old’s performance ticked the right boxes, with Les Phocéens prepared to offer a good sum of money to land his signature in the near future.
But they face competition from fellow Ligue 1 clubs Rennes, Montpellier and Nice plus teams in England and Spain.
