3SC Fans Lynch Howard, Want Him Sacked
Published: May 18, 2015
The teeming fans of 3SC vented their anger on the chief coach of the club, Franklin Howard following the team’s home draw to their arch-rival, Rangers International FC in a Nigeria Premier Football League match played on Sunday at Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Ibadan.
The Oluyole Warriors only managed to secure a 1-1 draw through a penalty at the 44 minutes by Tope Orelope to level a goal scored in the 30th minutes by the Flying Antelopes in a match watched by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) boss, Amaju Pinnick.
The irate fans who believed the coach, Franklin Howard does not process the wherewithal to succeed as the technical head of a traditional club-side like Shooting Stars after the game descended on the coach but was lucky to be rescued by the security operatives.
Howard while speaking with newsmen immediately after the game has pleaded with the teeming supporters of the team to give the team a little time to solidify, attributing the home draw to a off-day his top striker Ajayi Junior had on the day.
“We only had a bad day today, especially the striker we so much relied upon for goals today, but not clicking in today’s match, this outcome is so painful to us at the technical crew, but we can only plead with our fans to be patient with us, we are still going to put smiles on their faces, it’s just a matter of time”, said Howard.
