Young Stars Ekong, Madu And Esiti Set To Make Debut As Keshi Names Starting XI

Super Eagles manager Stephen Keshi has named his starting line - up for Saturday afternoon’s African Cup of Nations qualifier against Chad in Kaduna.
As many as three players are set t o make their international debut for Nigeria, with Keshi including William Troost-Ekong, Kingsley Madu and Anderson Esiti in the starting XI. The combined age of the debutantes is 61 years.
Vincent Enyeama is set to break Nigeria’s appearance record he currently shares with Joseph Yobo as the Lille numero uno will be in between the pipes for the 101st time in his career this afternoon.
Chelsea youngster Kenneth Omeruo will partner newcomer Ekong in central defense, with Madu and Leon Balogun the two fullbacks.
Eddy Onazi, Anderson Esiti and Michael Babatunde are the chosen trio in midfield.
Guangzhou R&F’s Aaron Samuel, Ahmed Musa and Gbolahan Salami will lead the front-line.
