Chippa United Locked In Talks With Warri Wolves Over Signing Of Daniel Akpeyi
Published: June 25, 2015
Premier Division club Chippa United are still thrashing out terms with Warri Wolves over the signing of Super Eagles glovesman Daniel Akpeyi.
Warri Wolves had stated two weeks ago, through their media officer, that a deal was not in the offing, but that’s far from the truth, according to South - African based intermediary Mohammed Lawal, who is involved in negotiations.
“Nothing has been finalized yet, the deal is not off. The two clubs are still talking, Daniel Akpeyi is a very important player to Warri Wolves , ” said Mohammed Lawal to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“Hopefully things will be sorted out soon. It’s still a two - year deal he will sign if the transfer goes ahead.”
