San Jose Earthquakes Midfielder Fatai Alashe Lists Gains Of Playing For USA In Toulon Tournament

United States Under 23 international Fatai Alashe has admitted that he learned a lot from his participation at this summer&rsquo;s Toulon Tournament. <br /><br />The San Jose Earthquakes midfielder appeared for USA three times during the tournament and was on target in the 2 - 1 loss suffered at the hands of Costa Rica at the end of last month.<br /><br />&ldquo;The competition was obviously a lot different. I&rsquo;ve played in some U-23 games before, but those were more friendlies,&rdquo; Alashe was quoted as saying by mlssoccer.com.<br /><br />&ldquo;This wasn&rsquo;t a major tournament, but it was a competition and you could tell there was a lot more competitive spirit going into it, from other teams and our team as well. <br /><br />For me, it was definitely a good experience.
