Published: June 28, 2015
Sunshine Stars defender Kunle Odunlami is on his way to Morocco along with his intermediary Joel Buade to finalize his move to Raja Casablanca.
Raja Casablanca have offered the Nigeria international a two - year deal but that is not cast in stone, as the center back has insisted he will sign a three - year contract worth around $200,000 per season.
“Raja Casablanca finally sent the flight tickets to us. Kunle was supposed to play a league match against Rangers this weekend but due to the emergency he couldn’t feature in that game, ’’ said Joel Buade to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“No, he is not going for trials after making Nigeria’s squad for the last World Cup.Tomorrow (Monday) he will have his medical.
“On Tuesday or Wednesday he will sign the contract. Raja fans are eager to see him.’’
For being on the books of Sunshine Stars during the World Cup, Fifa remitted £50,000 less deductions to Sunshine Stars via the Nigerian FA. Odunlami did not get a single penny from the club.
