Ex England Youth - Teamer Rashid Yussuff Training With Arka Gdynia
Published: July 01, 2015
Ex England youth international Rashid Yussuff has started trials with Polish club Arka Gdynia ,with the hope of bagging a contract at the end of the exercise.
In the winter transfer market, the midfielder signed a one - and - a - half year deal with Zebbug Rangers.
With Zebbug Rangers losing their top flight status at the end of last season, Yussuff is unlikely to remain with the Maltese team as there was a clause inserted into his contract permitting him to walk away for nothing if they lose their top flight status.
On Wednesday, the Anglo - Nigerian took part in his first training session with Arka Gdynia ahead of Saturday’s friendly against Gwardia Koszalin.
Rashid Yussuff scored 4 goals in 16 matches in the second half of last season for Zebbug Rangers.
He previously had spells with AFC Wimbledon, Gillingham, Margate and Charlton Athletic.
