Mosta Running The Rule Over Ex Enyimba Striker Saviour Fidelis
Published: July 19, 2015
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed by sources in the Island Nation that ex Super Eagles invitee Saviour Fidelis has started trials with Mosta, with a view to being offered a contract this summer.
It is understood that the attacker was recommended to the Maltese Premier League club by retired Nigeria international Tijani Babangida, who is close to the player and the team.
Mosta’s coaching staff led by Trevor Fenech and Ivan Zammit will run the rule over Saviour Fidelis on Sunday when the Charles Abela Memorial Stadium outfit confront Qormi in the Summer Cup, a pre - season tournament.
Six months ago, the former Kaduna United man was linked with a move to Omani club Al Dhafur but the transfer failed to materialize after the agent that brokered the deal insisted on pocketing a certain percentage of his take home pay.
Saviour Fidelis has represented Zamfara United, Enyimba and Taraba in the past.
