Yannick Iwunze Testing With AC Horsens
Published: July 21, 2015
American - Nigerian defender Yannick Iwunze has started trials with Danish First Division club AC Horsens.
These days, there are no more Nigerian players on the books of the Jutland outfit, with Jude Nworuh failing to extend his contract at the end of last season and Sebastien Ibeagha released before the league ended.
“I had seen that he is good at defending, but there and then to see a player who can strengthen us is some way.
“We need players that can be used from day one,” coach Bo Henriksen told Horsens Folkeblad.
Born in Paris, Yannick Iwunze is eligible to represent the national teams of France, Nigeria and the United States.
