Liverpool and Nigeria striker Asisat Oshoala could spend at least two months on the sidelines due to a knee injury.
The 20 - year - old had to be substituted after 53 minutes in Liverpool’s 2 - 1 loss to Notts County last Saturday after sustaining an injury.
Asisat Oshoala sat out Liverpool’s 2 - 0 victory against Everton in the Continental Tyres Cup, fueling speculation that her injury is worse than earlier thought.
The former Rivers Angels star is expected to be out of action for a few months, according to manager Matt Beard, who was speaking with the BBC.
