Watford Under 18s striker Ogo Obi has reflected on the 3 - 2 defeat suffered at the hands of Chesham United in a pre - season fixture on Wednesday at Meadow.
The former Manchester United target equalized for the Hornets in the second half after the Southern League Premier Division
side had taken the lead through Barry Hayles before the 20th minute.
Despite suffering defeat eventually, Obi put up an eye - catching performance and he was pleased to have the experience of playing against older players.
“I was a little bit shaky at the start as I’m not used to it, but in the second-half I was ready for the battle,” said Ogo Obi to Hornets PlayerHD., according to watfordfc.com.
“I took the goal well and I thought we should have gone on to win, but we are learning still and we can take a lot from it.
“This is real football - and hopefully we can cut out the mistakes we made going forward into the next game.”
