Hull City Catch Chuba Akpom Silencing Critics In A Big Way

Nigeria target Chuba Akpom is proving his critics wrong after scoring for the second consecutive game while wearing the jersey of Hull City.
The Arsenal loanee came of the bench on the hour mark and inspired The Tigers to a shoot - out win against Accrington Stanley in the League Cup on Tuesday night.
After it was all square at the of normal time, Chuba Akpom finally broke the deadlock in the second minute of extra time and kept his composure to score his spot kick during the shoot - out after the game ended 2 - 2.
“Into the next round of the capital one cup , buzzing to come on and score , away fans were great #hcfc #ak @HullCity, ” said Chuba Akpom on Twitter in his post match comments.
Other Anglo - Nigerian players that were in action at Store First Stadium include Sone Aluko and Moses Odubajo, who played for 96 and 71 minutes respectively for the victors.
