Lazio Midfielder Eddy Onazi Apologizes Again For Moment Of Madness

The Super Eagles are still in Eddy Onazi’s heart despite his omission from the squad that will take on Tanzania in a few days time on account of his red card against Chad three months ago.
Once again, the Lazio midfielder has apologized to his teammates for his moment of madness in Kaduna, and is hoping to return to the squad for the crucial Afcon qualifier against Egypt in March 2016.
“I want to wish my national teammates all the best as they start tomorrow’s preparation for the most important qualifying game against Tanzania, ” said Eddy Onazi in a statement.
“I am really sorry about the red card for the last match in Kaduna, I will be the number one fan of the Super Eagles when we play and will pray for the victory of the team, most important.
“I will join you guys as soon as I serve my two - match suspension. ”
The young midfielder started every single game contested by Nigeria at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and won gold with the national team a year before in South Africa at the African Cup of Nations.
