Emmanuel Amuneke Confident Of Fifa U17 World Cup Triumph

Golden Eaglets coach Emmanuel Amuneke fancies his team’s chances of
winning the Fifa Under 17 World Cup which begins in Chile this weekend,
with the defending champions squaring off against the United States in
Santiago.
The Nigeria Under 17s have started preparations for the tie against the Americans after flying in from Buenos Aires at 2020 hours local time on Tuesday.
“We are here to defend the trophy,” said Amuneke told reporters.
“We are here with new players who want to write their own history and we are looking forward to our first game against the United States of America, which is very important for us.”
Nigeria, USA, host nation Chile and Croatia make up pool A of the competition.
