Maccabi Tel Aviv midfielder Nosa Igiebor may have to undergo surgery after picking up a knee injury in the Champions League clash against FC Basel in August, according to reports in the Israeli media.
One.co.il says the Premier League champions are not certain when the Nigeria international will resume full training with the Yellows.
Towards the end of September, Igiebor flew to Barcelona to see specialists for them to have a second opinion on the troublesome knee but there has been no change since he returned to Tel Aviv, as he continues to suffer pain.
The 24 - year - old has managed only one appearance in the top flight this season and it is all but confirmed that he will miss Saturday’s clash against Maccabi Petah Tikva.
