Published: October 16, 2015
Fulham’s Tayo Edun has withdrawn from England’s Under 17s squad ahead of their World Cup opener on Saturday against Guinea, after suffering a groin injury.
The news will come as a big blow to manager Neil Dewsnip as the youngster can cover several positions in defense and midfield.
“Unfortunately he has a problem with his groin that will rule him out of the tournament,” said Neil Dewsnip.
“It’s hugely disappointing for everyone involved and we all wish him a speedy and full recovery. ”
