Ex Golden Eaglets Star Akinjide Idowu Predicts Nigeria Will Beat Croatia 3 - 0
Published: October 23, 2015
Former Nigeria Under 17 international Akinjide Idowu has predicted that the Golden Eaglets will easily see off the challenge of Croatia on Friday night so long as they don’t remove their feet off the pedal.
The highly - rated defensive midfielder was part and parcel of the Nigeria Under 17s squad that dazzled the world in the United Arab Emirates two years ago, featuring in all the games minus the last group match against Iraq.
“I think they should be able to beat Croatia if they maintain the same tactical discipline we saw in the first two games, ” Idowu told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“It is not easy playing against Eastern European countries because they have a strong mentality and they are well equipped in physical conditioning.
“I am predicting that the game will end 3 - 0 in favour of the Golden Eaglets.”
