Ex Nigeria U17 International Mustapha Abdullahi Sings Praises Of Golden Eaglets Coach Amuneke
Published: October 23, 2015
Ex Golden Eaglets fullback Mustapha Abdullahi has nothing but praise for Nigeria U17s coach Emmanuel Amuneke, ahead of his team’s final Group A fixture against Croatia at the Fifa Under 17 World Cup.
The Nigeria U23 international has predicted that the Golden Eaglets will end their group games with a hundred percent record.
“I know and I believed they are going to do well because I had that spirit in me, ” says Mustapha Abdullahi to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“I have worked with their coach Emmanuel Amunike. He is such a hard working coach who always want to teach players both mentally and physically. You can see when they lose the ball everyone is trying to get behind the ball.
“They should approach the Croatian side with discipline like they did to USA and the host Chile and I am sure they will deliver again.”
Mustapha Abdullahi starred for the Golden Eaglets at the 2013 African Under 17 Championship, and assisted the team get to the final of the competition.
