Asisat Oshoala Wins Another Award In England

Asisat Oshoala has won the Outstanding Achievement Female New Player award, Liverpool Ladies Football Club have announced through official channels.
The Nigeria international is widely regarded as one of the top young players in the world, having won the FIFA U-20 Women’ s World Cup Golden Boot and Golden Ball in 2014.
Before the Women’s World Cup, the first African footballer to play in the WSL was voted the BBC Women’s Footballer of the Year for 2015.
Asisat Oshoala struggled with a knee injury towards the end of the 2015 season but managed to find the back of the net three times in nine appearances in the top flight.
A product of Rivers Angels, the 21 - year - old made her debut in the Champions League against Brescia on October 7.
