Canada Call Up Chelsea Talent Fikayo Tomori

Canada Under-20 coach Rob Gale has summoned Chelsea right - back Fikayo Tomori for a ten - day get - together in Mexico in November.
Born in Calgary, the defender is eligible to represent the national teams of Canada, England and Nigeria but The Reds have moved fast to persuade him to commit his future to them by inviting him for a training camp, with an eye on the CONCACAF Under-20 Championship.
“He’s a hidden gem, really. We hope he comes in and enjoys what we’re about and commits to us for the international football scene, ” Rob Gale said.
“He’s doing very well in his football environment and he’s a very interesting prospect for us.
“It’s definitely infancy stages. But we’re very pleased to be able to bring him in and offer him the opportunity.”
Canada Under - 20s face Mexico on November 13 in an international friendly in Mexico City before tackling the same opponents two days later in the same city.
