Kelechi Iheanacho And Moses Simon Nominated For Prestigious Golden Boy Award Turin based sports daily Tuttosport has announced the nominees for the 2015 Edition of the European Golden Boy, an award for the best footballer in Europe below 21 years.

Four players of Nigerian descent - Moses Simon (Gent), Kelechi Iheanacho (Manchester City), Dele Alli (Tottenham Hotspur) and Jordon Ibe (Liverpool) made the 40 - player shortlist .

Respected journalists from reputable publications Marca, The Times, Bild, L’Equipe, Tuttosport and  De Telegraaf will chose the most worthy player to succeed  Manchester City star Raheem Sterling.

Nigeria internationals Ahmed Musa (CSKA Moscow) and Kenneth Omeruo( Kasimpasa) have been nominated for the prestigious award in the past.
