Portland Timbers and FC Dallas will contest the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs Western Conference Final after they saw off Vancouver Whitecaps and Seattle Sounders in the last four on Monday morning.
Fanendo Adi contributed to the Timbers success, notching his 17th goal of the season in the 31th minute before Chara doubled the advantage in second - half injury time after being set up by the Nigerian striker.
At the Toyota Stadium (Frisco, Texas), Tesho Akindele hopped off the bench in the 83rd minute and gave Dallas the lead a minute after his introduction in their 2 - 1 win over Obafemi Martins and Seattle Sounders.
