Sylvester Igboun Confident Super Eagles Will Beat Swaziland Home And Away
Published: November 10, 2015
Sylvester Igboun is currently in Abuja with his international teammates
for the World Cup qualifiers with Swaziland, and his confidence
restored after he ended his goal drought in FC Ufa’s 2 - 1 win over
Amkar Perm in the Russian Premier League on Saturday.
Looking ahead to the World Cup qualifiers with the Southern African country, Igboun says the Super Eagles are targeting victories in both matches but admitted that it will not be achieved on a platter of gold.
“Our qualifier against Swaziland is going to be an interesting game, it is a game that we players and Nigeria are looking forward to,” Igboun said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“We are about to start our homework towards the game and I know by God’s grace we will get what we want from the game.
“It’s not going to be easy but with the kind of players and quality we have in the team I believe we can win the both away and home game.”
The former Midtjylland man has appeared four times for the Super Eagles since he made his debut in an African Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania in September 2015.
