Bari Make Move For Carpi Striker Jerry Mbakogu

Jerry Mbakogu is attracting plenty of interest from Serie B side Bari ahead of the January transfer window, according to reports.
La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno says Bari are targeting a return to the Italian top - flight next season and have beamed their searchlight on Mbakogu to assist their push for automatic promotion.
The 23 - year - old Mbakogu has seven Serie A appearances for Carpi in the ongoing season but has not taken the league by storm after battling with injuries.
The Lagos - born attacker has contractual obligations with Carpi until June 30, 2019.
He initially joined Carpi on loan in the 2013 - 14 season from Padova before the move was made permanent in July 2014.
