Anthony Nwakaeme , Austin Amutu Nominated For Player Of The Week Award In Israel

Two Nigerian strikers are in the running to be named Player of the Week in the Israeli Premier League for the latest round of matches.
Hapoel Beer Sheva frontman Anthony Nwakaeme and Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona newbie Austin Amutu are among the five players nominated for the prestigious award.
Eran Zahavi (Maccabi Tel Aviv), Rene Miheli�(Hapoel Raanana) and Firas Mugrabi (Bnei Sakhnin) complete the shortlist, with the winner to be announced on Thursday, January 28.
Tony Nwakaeme netted his seventh goal of the season in Hapoel Beer Sheva’s 2-1 win over Beitar Jerusalem last weekend whole Amutu scored for the second straight game in his team’s 1-0 victory against Maccabi Haifa.
Nwakeme has already been recognized this season for his outstanding performance for The Camels, winning the Player of the Week award on match day 18.
