Published: January 29, 2016
Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced that the highly-rated teenager Hakeem Odoffin has completed his move to the Molineux from League Two side Barnet for an undisclosed fee.
The 17-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract that will see him remain at Wolves until the end of the 2017-18 season, with the club retaining the option of extending the agreement by an additional season.
“I’m delighted. It’s been a long time coming. There’s been a lot of talk and there was a lot of speculation,” Odoffin said.
“Barnet have been great about it so I was never worried and I knew I was always going to end up coming here. I’m just happy to get it done.
“The facilities here are unbelievable. I love it. I’m really looking forward to getting started.”
Described as a versatile defender, Hakeem Odoffin had spells with Tottenham Hotspur and Reading prior to his move to The Hive.
