Olympiakos Striker Brown Ideye Off To England
Published: February 09, 2016
Greek champions Olympiakos permitted Brown Ideye to travel to England on Monday to attend to personal matters.
The players of the Reds were given a day off yesterday on the heels of their 1-0 victory over PAOK in the Super League on February 7.
Apart from being a Commonwealth citizen, Brown Ideye still has ties with England, having represented West Brom before shifting to Olympiakos last summer.
The former Dynamo Kiev and Sochaux star might not have impressed the Baggies faithful during his spell at The Hawthorns but he is enjoying a new lease of life at Olympiakos and there has been talk that a couple of Premier League teams are interested in him.
This season, Ideye has netted 10 goals (4 assists) for Olympiakos in all competitions.
