Alex Iwobi To Travel To USA With Arsenal For MLS All-Star Game

Super Eagles striker Alex Iwobi will travel to the United States with the Arsenal team in July for the 2016 AT&T MLS All-Star Game if he is not farmed out on loan in the summer.
Major League Soccer announced on Thursday that the English Premiership giants will compete against the finest footballers in the American top-flight at Avaya Stadium in San Jose on Thursday, July 28.
In recent years, Premier League sides Manchester United, Everton, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have participated in the MLS All-Star Game.
In 2015, Tottenham Hotspur’s Anglo-Nigerian midfielders Dele Alli and Josh Onomah featured in the MLS All-Star Game, while Obafemi Martins had to withdraw from the roster after failing to recover from injury.
Other players of Nigerian descent that have played in the showpiece game include David Alaba (Bayern Munich), John Obi Mikel (Chelsea), Joseph Yobo (Everton) and Carlton Cole(West Ham).
