Published: February 28, 2016
The President of NNL outfit, Mighty Jets of Jos, Alhaji Ismaila Mabo, has hailed management’s decision to acquire retired Nigeria international winger, Baldwin Bazuaye, as the team’s Technical Adviser ahead of the 2016 season.
Bazuauye was described as a good ambassador of ex-internationals and it is said his coaching style is excellent.
Mabo said for a long time he has not seen a manager with such high level professionalism and commitment to duty and prayed that all the hard work exhibited so far by the coach be transformed into success for the team.
Bazuaye, a silver medalist with the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the 1990 African Cup of Nations finals in Algiers was only recently appointed to take over from Tony Ubaka as Technical Adviser of the 1972 topflight Champions.
Ubaka has been reassigned to handle the reserve team who are also preparing for the Federation Cup as well as the Nigeria Nationwide League Division Two.
Meanwhile, Bazuaye has been mandated by management to qualify the first team for the national finals of the Federation Cup and the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL.
