Umea IK Star Rita Chikwelu Handed International Lifeline By Omagbemi; Oshoala, Ikidi, Okobi, 37 Others Called Up

Super Falcons coach Florence Omagbemi has called up 13 foreign-based players and 27 others that ply their trade in the domestic championship to camp ahead of the 2016 Africa Women Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against either of Senegal or Guinea in April.
Of the 13 invited overseas players, four are based in Sweden, including Umea IK star Rita Chikwelu , who has been in the international wilderness in the last few years.
Liverpool Ladies striker Asisat Oshoala has also been called up alongside the best defender in the Swedish Damallsvenskan,Faith Ikidi and Vittsjoe GIK new signings Ngozi Okobi and Josephine Chukwunonye.
Rivers Angels, as you would expect, have contributed the most players to the roster, 6 in total, followed by Bayelsa Queens and Nasarawa Amazons who have five and four players respectively.
All invited players are expected to report at Serob Legacy Hotel, Wuye, Abuja on Tuesday, March 1.
