England youth internationals of Nigerian heritage Jordon Ibe and Sheyi Ojo have a chance of featuring for Liverpool in Thursday night’s clash with Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Europa League Quarter-final, Game 1.
The Reds number 33 was among the 20 players that traveled to Germany on Wednesday ahead of the game at Signal Iduna Park, with the young winger Ojo also in the traveling party.
The 18-year-old was considered for the trip by Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp after starring for the U21s in their 2-0 win over Leicester City in the U21 Premier League on Monday.
Portugal youth international Tiago Ilori lasted the distance in the game against the Foxes at the the King Power Stadium, helping the goalkeeper post a shutout, but has been left out of the roster.
If the group stage is included in the mix, Ibe has played five times in the Europa League this term, while Ojo and Ilori have not been involved in any of the games to date.
