Ex-Golden Eaglets Dazzler Little Messi To Spend Only Four Months With Abia Warriors
Published: April 09, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that former Golden Eaglets dazzler Stanley Okoro will remain at Nigeria Professional Football League side Abia Warriors until August 2016 having penned a four-month deal.
The BJ Foundation product had been in search of a new club since he severed all links to Almeria in the summer of 2015 after spending five years with the Andalusian outfit.
As a stop gap measure, Okoro has decided to sign a short-team deal with Abia Warriors as he has plans to return to Europe before the close of the summer transfer window.
He will play with the number eight kit at Abia Warriors, the same number he wore for the Nigeria U17s during the 2009 World Cup hosted by the country.
Now 23, Stanley Okoro spent the 2013-2014 season on loan at Bulgarian side Cherno More.
