Ighalo Pulls Plug On 40 Million Euros Move To Qatar, Rep CLAIMS Manchester United Still Want Watford Star
Published: May 13, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Odion Ighalo will not be moving to the Qatar Stars League, as the Nigeria international prefers to remain in the English Premier League for the foreseeable future.
An unnamed team based in the Persian Gulf were willing to offer the Watford striker a four-year deal and annual wages of ten million euros, and talks had taken place with his intermediary.
This website can reveal that the most concrete interest so far for Ighalo’s services has come from West Brom though his representative has claimed that he is drawing interest from the so-called top six sides in the Premier League, including Manchester United and West Ham.
This is not the first time the Super Eagle has rejected a transfer to Asia, with the player and his agent pulling out of a move to Chinese First Division club Hebei China Fortune in summer of 2015 that would have seen him pocket £3million per season.
Odion Ighalo has made 41 appearances this season, scoring 17 goals.
