Aaron Eyoma Features In Showpiece Game At Spax Cup As Arsenal Lose

Arsenal U19s were beaten 3-0 by Schalke 04 in the final of the prestigious Spax Cup on Monday afternoon in Germany.
The Young Gunners saw off Liverpool this morning to reach the final of the competition thanks to a goal from Eddie Nketiah , and Ovie Ejaria lasted the distance in the 1-0 loss suffered by his team.
The 18-year-old midfielder was shown a yellow card in the 28th minute against Arsenal, and was not in action few hours later when the Reds tackled VfL Wolfsburg in the bronze medal game.
Nigerian winger Aaron Eyoma started on the bench against Liverpool but returned to the starting line-up for the showpiece game.
Maximilian Pronichev (2) and Fabian Reese were on the mark for Schalke 04 in the final.
