Nigerian Exports: Milan Products Taiwo,Oduamadi Score Again; Onyedinma Makes Millwall Bench; Obinna Absent; Ebagua Fires Blanks Catch up on the performances of players of Nigerian descent in the European Leagues on Friday.

Millwall have booked their place in the Football League One playoff final after beating Bradford City 4-2 on aggregate, with the second leg ending 1-1 at the Den.

Fred Onyedinma made Millwall’s 18-man squad but was one of the five players in the squad that was not given a run out.

OB Odense lost 3-1 to SoenderjyskE at Sydbank Park in the Danish Superliga. Izunna Uzochukwu was in action for 45 minutes before he subbed out.

Hakeem Araba (Falkenbergs) and Dickson Etuhu (AIK) did not make their respective teams squad in the Swedish Allsvenskan. The visitors won 3-2 at  Falkenbergs IP.

Nigeria winger Chuks Akabueze played the entirety of Odd Grenland’s goalless draw at Onyekachi Uguwadu’s Sarpsborg 08.

Super Eagles wing-back Tayo Taiwo continued his rich vein of form in the Finnish Veikkausliiga, scoring for the third game on the spin as HJK Helsinki earned a 2-1 win at FC Lahti .

Nnamdi Oduamadi had opened scoring for HJK  in the 10th minute before Taiwo put the team 2-0 up from the penalty spot in the 59th minute. The winger saw 89 minutes of action, while the ex-Marseille man worked a ninety-minute shift.

Still in Finland, Nnaemeka Anyamele was introduced in the 47th minute in HIFK’s 1-0 loss to IFK Mariehamn.
