Raja Casablanca Star Babatunde Expected To Join Super Eagles On Monday Night
Published: May 30, 2016
Raja Casablanca star Michael Babatunde is expected to join the Super Eagles camp on Monday night ahead of their international friendly with Luxembourg tomorrow.
The Nigeria Football Federation is reporting that the attacking midfielder was given special permission to rejoin his Moroccan club immediately after the win against Mali, where he set up the winning goal scored by City’s Kelechi Iheanacho.
As a matter of fact, the friendlies against Mali and Luxembourg are being held outside Fifa’s window for international matches and that explains why Racing Genk young star Wilfred Ndidi could only link up with the team this morning.
Michael Babatunde , 23, has agreed to join Qatar SC in the summer transfer market in a deal worth $3.1 million excluding wages and performance-related incentives.
