Super Eagles Striker Aaron Samuel Flies To Germany For Surgery
Published: June 01, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Guangzhou R&F frontman Aaron Samuel has flown to Germany where he will undergo surgery in the coming days if not hours.
The Nigeria international has been on the sidelines since May 2, 2016 after damaging knee ligaments in the Russian Cup final between the Army Men and Zenit St. Petersburg.
Depending on the success of the surgery, Samuel may be offered fresh terms by CSKA Moscow, with the loan agreement between the Russians and their Chinese counterparts running out at the end of May.
CSKA Moscow chiefs were pleased with his contribution to the team and had set the ball rolling over the extension of his stay in the capital before his unfortunate injury.
