Released Man City Defender Oseni Missed Chance To Put Himself In Shop Window At Olympics
Published: June 29, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that the Nigeria Football Federation have started pushing the right buttons in their bid to cap released Manchester City defender Nathaniel Oseni in the near future.
A source close to the situation has told this website that the stopper was on the radar of Dream Team VI coach Samson Siasia before he announced his 35-man provisional roster for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
Oseni was considered for the Nigeria U23s screening but missed the chance to be on the plane to Brazil after he failed to show up in Abuja.
Born in London 19 years ago, the central defender has been called up to train with England U17s in the past, but has been seen flirting with Team Nigeria UK officials in recent times.
A product of Fulham Academy, the youngster trained with Sheffield United, Leicester City, Brighton & Hove Albion and West Brom prior to his release by City.
