Onduku Pens Wydad Pre-Contract After Trials; Transfer Hanging In The Balance
Published: July 04, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Gomo Onduku is inching closer to being unveiled by Wydad Casablanca, having penned a preliminary contract with the Moroccan side following a successful trial.
But it is not done and dusted that the former Arsenal trialist will seal his move to the Rouges et Blanc as they have exceeded the number of foreign players allowed by the Moroccan Federation.
Wydad presently have six expatriate players on their books, including Nigeria international Chisom Chikatara, while the foreign player cap is four per club.
To make room for the acquisition of Gomo Onduku, officials of the club are thinking of shipping out Moctar Mohamed Cissé (Mali) and Sory Keita (Senegal) on loan this summer.
Onduku, who is a free agent, last played for CSMS Iai in Romania.
