Bournemouth Closing In On Deal For Ex-Nigeria Target Jordon Ibe
Published: July 07, 2016
Liverpool have accepted a 15 million pounds bid from Premier League rivals Bournemouth for the services of Jordon Ibe , according to reports emanating from the British press.
According to Sky Sports UK, the England U21 international has been granted permission to speak to The Cherries as regards to his personal terms.
Aged 20, the London-born winger joined Liverpool in 2012 from Wycombe Wanderers, rising through the ranks before he ended up in the first team.
Ibe saw the handwriting on the wall that he was surplus to requirement when manager Jürgen Klopp relegated him to the bench towards the end of last season.
He was approached by former Nigeria manager Sunday Oliseh to represent the Super Eagles, but snubbed his advances, preferring to continue playing for England U21s instead.
