Three Lionesses Star Eniola Cheers From The Stands As Sone Aluko Scores Again For Fulham
Published: July 30, 2016
Super Eagles striker Sone Aluko is enjoying a new lease of life at Championship side Fulham, having seen his first team opportunities limited at Hull City last term.
The new signing helped the Cottagers record a 3-1 win over Premier League opponents Crystal Palace on Saturday, opening scoring in the 36th minute after he was played through by Cairney.
Just few days after penning a 2+1 year deal with Fulham, Sone Aluko scored and notched a helper on his debut as the Craven Cottage outfit thrashed Preston North End 3-0.
The former Aberdeen and Rangers man was not lacking support on and off the pitch in today’s game against the Eagles, with his family, including his sister, England international Eniola, watching from the stands.
It is all but confirmed that Aluko will make his competitive debut for his new employer next Friday against Newcastle United.
Meanwhile, Adeniran, Adebayo and Edun were named in the starting XI and went the distance as Fulham U23s lost 1-0 to Olufela Olomola’s Southampton on Saturday, with the former Arsenal striker playing the full game.
