Nigerian Clubs To Benefit From Next Transfer Of Arsenal Midfielder Nwakali, Insert Sell-On Clause
Published: August 05, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that ASJ/Diamond Academy will smile to the bank if their former pupil Kelechi Nwakali is sold by Premier League team Arsenal in future.
Aside training compensation, the Nigerian clubs inserted a ten percent sell-on clause into the contract the Nigeria youth international penned with the Gunners earlier this week.
In layman’s terms, assuming Kelechi Nwakali moves to another club before the expiration of his contract for a transfer fee of
£10 million, ASJ/Diamond Academy will pocket £1 million.
The 18-year-old has finally put pen to paper on a five-year deal with the Emirates outfit for a fee of 2.5 million pounds.
Nwakali, who was courted by a plethora of clubs in Europe before committing his future to Arsenal, has started training with his new employers.
