Nigeria U23s Land In Belo Horizonte ; Resume Training Ahead Of Honduras Match

Players and officials of the Nigerian U23 National Team landed in Belo Horizonte on Thursday ahead of Saturday’s bronze medal match against Honduras at the Olympic Games.
Only yesterday, the Samson Siasia-led side failed to qualify for the showpiece game after losing 2-0 to Germany in the semifinal.
Upon their arrival in Belo Horizonte, they will rest for a few hours before heading to the training ground.
The Nigeria U23s were scheduled to train this night at SESC Venda Nova, one of the training facilities used by Belgium at the 2014 World Cup.
Assistant skipper Azubuike Okechukwu will be available for selection against Honduras, having served his mandatory one-match ban, while Oghenekaro Etebo will undergo a late fitness test before the game.
