Nigerian Wonderkid Adekanye Stars In Liverpool Win Vs Manchester United

Nigerian wonderkid Bobby Adekanye was in sparkling form for Liverpool in their 2-1 win over Manchester United U18s in the U18 Premier League on Saturday.
The former Barcelona and Ajax Amsterdam youngster struggled in his debut season in England after picking up an injury while on international duty with Holland’s youth team, but has put his injury woes behind him in the new season.
Against Manchester United today, Yan Dhanda opened scoring after 21 minutes before grabbing his second eight minutes later after he was set up by Adekanye.
The 17-year-old Nigerian spent 67 minutes on Liverpool’s Academy Ground turf on match day one against Blackburn Rovers, and assisted the Reds secure a 4-0 win.
Adekanye penned a three-year contract with Liverpool in July 2015.
