Manchester City Wonderkid Iheanacho Fully Committed To Nigeria Cause
Published: August 31, 2016
Kelechi Iheanacho has proved that his commitment to the Super Eagles cause is not questionable following his appearance at the national team’s get-together in Uyo.
Nigeria Football Federation officials quickly informed the Super Eagles faithful that the Manchester City striker will honour his invitation to the national team for Saturday’s AFCON qualifier versus Tanzania, despite picking up an injury a week ago against Steaua Bucharest in the Champions League play-offs.
“It’s always a honour to represent my country, happy to be back with the team @thenff @NGSuperEagles ð³ð¬â½ï¸âï¸, ” Kelechi Iheanacho posted on Twitter.
The 19-year-old netted twice during the last international break, against Mali and Luxembourg, his first strikes for the senior national team.
Kelechi Iheanacho began training with his international colleagues on Tuesday.
