Pep Guardiola Includes Four Nigerian Talents In Man City Premier League Squad
Published: September 02, 2016
Tosin Adarabioyo has moved a step closer to making his debut for Manchester City in the Premier League.
The England youth international is among the four players of Nigerian descent named in the Citizens squad for the Premier League for the first half of the 2016-2017 campaign.
The 18-year-old Adarabioyo is joined on the roster by Super Eagles rising star Kelechi Iheanacho, Ashinme Kigbu and ex-Flying Eagles star Chidiebere Nwakali, who is currently on loan at IK Start.
Only Man City number 72 Iheanacho has Premier League experience, as the remaining three players have never been included in Premier League match day squads.
There are no limits on the number of Under-21 players a club can include and the four Nigerian talents fell into this category.
