16-Year-Old Wonderkid Noah Okafor Progressing At FC Basel

Young Nigerian midfielder Noah Okafor is progressing at the youth team of Switzerland powerhouse FC Basel.
Born May 24, 2000, the teenager has dual citizenship and is being touted as one of the future stars of Swiss football, has caps for their U15 squad and has been invited to train with the U16s.
Okafor will be hoping to display his talents when the UEFA Youth League begins, having been included in Basel’s roster for the competition.
The 16-year-old, who can play multiple positions, has been on the books of FC Basel for more than seven years.
FC Basel defender Manuel Akanji, who has Nigerian roots, represents the Switzerland U21 team while Eseosa Aigbogun has committed her future to Switzerland after she was snubbed by the Nigerian Federation.
