Exciting Nigerian Prospect Dele-Bashiru Scores Wonder Goal For Manchester City

Nigerian wonderkid Tom Dele-Bashiru continued his impressive start to the new season by netting the equalizer as Manchester City held Blackburn Rovers to a 1-1 draw in the U18 Premier League on Saturday.
Before the international break, the midfielder had notched three assists in the Citizens 7-0 rout of Liverpool.
City had trailed Blackburn Rovers in the 36th minute when Daniel Butterworth scored but Dele-Bashiru equalized on the stroke of half-time, firing a long range strike that beat goalkeeper Ascroft.
England U18 international Ashinme Kigbu, who was born in Jos, made his first appearance of the season and was cautioned in the 65th minute.
Manchester City tackle neighbors Manchester United at the Academy Stadium next Saturday.
